Computational semiotics

While studying semiotics and culturology at the University of Tartu, Estonia, I became interested in the links between computers and semiotics. The aspect that interested me most was emulating a semiotic, sign-based process within a computer. This field of study is called computational semiotics. Those interested can download from this page my bachelor's thesis (spring 2008) that introduces the field and gives a few pointers for further study.
